This was a quick week jaunt down to Cannes in our own “Cans” Routing via the “Route de Napoleon” but this time from North to South – Starting at our favourite “Pre Crossing Stopover” – The Marquis of Granby. Then over to France on 22nd where we stayed at the Golf Hotel “Domaine de la Foret”

Then on 23rd we ate some more miles to get to Grenoble staying at “Chateau De La Commanderie.

On 24th it was “The Day” to pickup the Route de Napoleon enjoying some fantastic roads and ending up in the warm and sunny town of Cannes where we stayed in “Ermitage de L’Oasis right next to the marina. 

On 25th we headed north via some great roads ending up at our own “Exclusive” Chateau Picomtal where our hosts rolled out the red carpet, gave us the full run of the Chateau with our amazing rooms. Evening meal was a short”Ish” walk down the hill to the local village where we were given a very warm welcome by the local restaurant.

26th September we headed further North stopping at an old mill – “Hotel Moulin d’Hauterive” for the last night before heading off to Calais and home on 27th. 

As ususal great roads, great hotels, fantastic food and good company. Only 5 cars this time but it fit well with the trip taken.. Tres Bon
