We get asked lots of questions about the treasure hunt – but of course we don’t give much away. Here are a list of the common questions asked and the appropriate answers.. 😉

What does "Coddiwomple" mean?
To "Coddiwomple" means to travel in a purposeful manner towards a vague destination. It describes our type of car treasure hunt exactly.
Who is the Chosen Charity?
Our chosen charity is "Prostate Cancer UK" one which we have supported for many years, have raised many thousands of pounds for and so very important.
What time does it start?
Everyone MUST be at "The Clubhouse" - The Woodman Inn before 8am on the day. You will need to pay for breakfast / teas / coffees a set fee of £8.
Why do I need to share my location on WhatsApp?
To ensure that everyone is checking in at the correct location and making sure you don't drift too far off course. It is essential.
What is the app "What 3 Words"?
This app assigns a 3 word address to every 3 metre square position in the world. One or more of your tasks may use this app.
Are there plans for the following day?
There are no plans for the following day. Once we get to the hotel on the day and debrief that is the finish. You can choose to do whatever you want after breakfast on Sunday morning ....
Where is the "Final Destination" Hotel?
The location of the Hotel where we will debrief and stay the night is not disclosed. It forms part of the challenge and it needs to be found like other tasks.
What happens with the money I have paid?
All profits will be paid to the chosen charity. There is a min £50 per car to go to the charity plus any donations received during the period of the event.
How long is the day?
The day will start at 8am and all will set off after breakfast and briefing. We aim to get everyone round by sunset on the day.
Do I need any special type of vehicle?
No - you do not need any special or fast car. It is not a race and you should just ensure a full tank of fuel and wear good foot ware as you will be out of the car too.
Are there any planned refreshment stops?
There will be plenty of opportunities to take refreshments and food during the day. Well as long as you make the locations planned of course 😉
What are the food arrangements at the hotel?
There is no formal dinner however there will be a menu to choose from as and when you want it at your own cost. If staying at the hotel - breakfast is included.
